Yoga for People with Hypermobility
May is EDS awareness month! In honor of that, Chie Tadaki, PT, DPT, a physical therapist and certified yoga instructor with Good Health Physical Therapy & Wellness will be holding a 3-week workshop for safe yoga for people with hypermobility.
These are examples of showing the difference between pushing into your hypermobility versus holding your body in a pose with awareness and control of your joint position. If you think you’d benefit from learning these differences and how to hold yourself safely in different yoga poses, please join us for this workshop!

The Feldenkrais Method is an unusual melding of motor development, bio-mechanics, psychology and martial arts. It integrates both body and mind to achieve greater balance and performance through movement. The body is reeducated to improve posture, flexibility, coordination, and self image as well as to alleviate muscular tension and pain.
